Mehrdad Malihi , MD.
Dr. Malihi is board certified in Ophthalmology . He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology (OAO) and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) . He is the founder of NELSI, INC., an eye care center in Portland, Oregon.
Despina Velanis, OD.
Dr. Velanis is a licensed Optometrist. Dr. Velanis completed her doctorate from Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Velanis trained externally at Virginia Garcia Community Health Center, Southern Oregon Veterans Affairs Clinic, OMNI Eye Services of Atlanta, Tayani Eye Institute, Community Health Centers of Central Coast, Pacific EyeClinics and Northwest Eye Care Professionals. Prior to earning her doctorate, Dr. Velanis graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience.
Dr. Velanis provides eye care services including refractive surgery consultations, cataract evaluations, surgical post-operative care, and ocular disease management. Dr. Velanis prides herself on her capability to provide an excellent clinical experience to her patients.
